Beginner – If you have no or very little driving experience with a car, then you may need to look at our Platinum / Gold courses. These courses are curated to help you cover all of the driving topics starting from the basics. Usually, these courses will last over 2 or more weeks. If you need to book time off or have limited time for these courses, then booking in advance is better as you can secure more preferable dates!
Intermediate – If you feel ready to take a test, book with our Silver courses as this medium-sized course will serve as your tool to closing the gap between where you’re currently at to becoming test standard. If you have some practice or had lessons a while ago, then our Silver courses suit you best.
Experienced – Are you needing to pass your driving test as soon as possible? You definitely found the right answer. LPODAcademy is the perfect place to help you with your journey in obtaining your licence sooner than you thought. Our Bronze courses are curated to make all learner drivers like yourself be test standard before they go to test. We can book in the hours around your schedule and book your practical test for the end of your course too.

Helping learners to become test standard and be familiar with the area prior to taking their driving test is our main goal in our intensive courses.
Aberystwyth has a practical test centre itself, so taking the test will not require you to travel to the nearby centres. However, if you wish to take your test to other test centres, here are test centres that would be situated in Bala and Swansea. Our driving instructors will take you to these centres prior to taking your test.

Booking a practical test is impossible until you’ve passed your theory test. So theory test is as important as the practical.
Aberystwyth has its own theory test centre, this will prove more convenient as taking your test will not require you to travel to another test centre. However, you may still travel to the nearest test centre in your place that would be situated in Bala.
