When deciding to do an intensive course, you have to find out which course is best for you. If you’re unsure of what course is best for you, then you will need to first work out where you’re at with your driving. Below, there are some descriptions, that are labeled, beginner, intermediate & experienced. If one of these best applies to you then, you will know what kind of course packages you need. If you’re still not quite sure what course you’ll need, then you can contact us on 0800 112 3515 and we will be more than happy to advise on our course packages. Beginner – If you’re starting from the very start with your driving journey, then our Gold / Platinum courses will be best for you! Our beginner courses will cover every aspect of the driving test sheet and also help you become a safe driver. These courses can also include the theory & practical tests too, so you can prepare for your theory before you start your intensive course, and then we can secure you an ideal test date for the end of your course. Book early to have better start dates and timings.
Intermediate – If you have driven slightly and have stopped or you have done some driving in the past, then one of our Silver courses may be the best for you. These courses are here to help you “pick up” from where you left off and continue your driving journey to the very end. We will help you brush up on your driving technique and go over that all-important driving test sheet!
Experienced – If you have failed a driving test recently or have done lots of driving lessons in the past, then our Bronze courses will suit you best. These courses are designed to help you keep the momentum going especially if you have failed a test. Your driving instructor will brush over where you failed on your test and put you towards becoming the best version of yourself to your test.
Fulwood is based on the PR2 postcode and all of the other surrounding villages. Around Fulwood are other places/settlements such as Preston, Lightfoot Green, Penwortham, Elston, Fish Wick, Ribbleton, Grimsargh, Samlesbury, Cottam & Ingol. Passing your driving test will solely be down to how you do on your test. No course is guaranteed but throughout your course, you will gradually become better and better.
Fulwood has no local test centre. So when you take your driving test, you will need to travel to nearby towns such as Preston & Blackpool. Your driving instructor will take you there prior to taking a test.

Passing your theory test is important as you cannot book a practical without it. We help you pass the theory test by including an online course that will help you understand and pass the theory test successfully. Passing the theory test is vital when organising an intensive so we put lots of emphases too.

Fulwood does not have a local theory test centre. You will need to travel to Preston in order to take one.

What happens if I fail my driving test?
The first thing we will do is rebook you for a test. Depending on your booking, we will book you another test asap. Your driving instructor will assess how many extra lessons you will need prior to taking your next test.
My theory runs out soon, can I still book?
Yes! If your theory is running out soon, we can search for driving test cancellations and aim to plan your course around your test date. This won’t always be the case. Depending on the time of year, we may need more notice or less.
Is my deposit refundable once I have completed my course?
The deposit is part of the whole course cost. If you wanted to cancel outside of the course cancellation conditions, then we will be able to arrange this for you!
What times of the day am I doing lessons?
Your driving instructor will contact you to discuss a plan for your training. This is when you can both liaise and discuss different timings for your course that work best for you.
What happens if my course is affected by a pandemic or something similar?
This will depend on the nature of what’s affecting your course. We will always have material on our website that will explain the process if such things were to happen.
