Galashiels has a local test centre itself. This means that taking your test be easy as it will not require you to travel to other nearby test centres. You are still welcome to visit other test centres near the town that would be situated in Edinburgh & Carlisle. Your driving instructor will take you there prior to taking a test.

Galashiels has its own theory test centre. This will your advantage as you will not be needing to travel to another test centre in order to take your test. You may still visit the nearby test centre situated in Edinburgh. Taking a theory test is very important as you cannot book a practical until you’ve passed the theory test.
