Hove is located near Brighton. In 1997 Hove merged with Brighton town to form a borough, and in 2011 Brighton and Hove were granted city status. Collectively, Brighton and Hove have a population of 92,000 residents according to the 2011 census. Based on the south coast, Brighton has its own university and features lots of Georgian architecture. Learning to drive in Hove will give you lots of experience when it comes to life on the road. With its many hills, narrow streets and ring road, the city boasts lots of crossroads, urban and residential areas and of course lots of roundabouts and traffic lights.
As part of your course, you will gain driving experience in neighbouring towns such as Worthing, Bognor Regis and Eastbourne. With local drives taking place in places such as Falmer, Fulking, Lancing, Clapham, Small Dole, Steyning, Henfield, Portslade, Findon, Washington, Kingston, Burgess Hill, Barcombe, Rodmell, Ditchling, Plumpton, West Chiltington, Ringmer, Shoreham-by-sea, Storrington, Glynde, Barcombe, Hickstead.
Your driving test will be taken at the end of the course. Usually the start of the following week. Your driving instructor will plan your training to help you become familiar with the local area. In most cases, Lancing driving test centre will be your preferred choice to take your driving test. During the last few hours of your course, you will be prepared for your exam by doing some mock driving tests!
