Driving On The Roads In Lincoln

Lincoln is a Cathedral city in Lincolnshire in the East Midlands. With a population of 98,000 people, Lincoln is famous for its medieval settlements, its cathedral and of course its castle. Based near the A15, Lincoln has good commuter links to North, and to the East of England. When doing an intensive driving course in Lincoln you will enjoy various experiences whilst out on your driving course. Lincoln has a mix of one-way systems, complex multi-lane roundabouts, dual carriageways and narrow cobbled streets. You will get to drive to nearby towns to develop your independent driving skills. These places may include Newark-On-Trent, Sleaford and Blyth.

Once you are more confident with your gear changes, hill starts and junctions, you will venture out-of-town to nearby places such as Canwick, Whisby, Greetwell, Branston, Reepham, Burton Waters, Sudbrooke, Broadholme, Harby, Doddington, Washingborough, Skellingthorpe, Nocton Heath, Swinethorpe, Thorney, Bardney, Coleby, Collingham, North Scarle, Scampton, Ingham, Saxilby, Lissington. This will help with your country lanes, bends, and hazards in the road.

During the last part of your intensive driving course in Lincoln, you will learn some driving test routes, do a mock driving test to help prepare you for the big day! Once you are confident, you will take your driving test.
