Plymouth is a city based in Devon, neighbouring the county of Cornwall. it is a popular place for tourism in the summertime due to its location, which makes it more congested and harder to drive in when you head towards the city centre. The history of Plymouth goes back into the Bronze Age with the first known settlement known as the Mount Batten which is now a suburb of the area.
There is no local motorway to Plymouth. The nearest motorway is the M5 which stops off at Exeter city to the east. The A38 dual-carriageway connects many towns to Plymouth like Newton Abbot and other towns like Launceston and Paignton. As per your course, you will also visit other places like Saltash, Millbrook, Kingsland, Down Thomas, Heybrook Bay, Wembury, Yealmpton, Sparkwell and Wotter.
You will be taking your test in Plymouth and learn the local test routes in and around Plymouth.
You will begin your course in the Plymouth area when you first start your course. Whether you are a complete novice, you will start on a quiet residential road where there is not much traffic. Our courses start from 10 hours to 45 hours.
We work with fully qualified ADI’s in and around Plymouth only. Their knowledge of the area will help you understand where the most common areas are.
The remaining 3 – 5 hours of your course will be kept back for your test date in Plymouth.
