Intensive Driving Courses St Austell

When learning to drive in St Austell your driving instructor will start your training in quiet residential streets to practice beginner level topics like clutch control, moving off and stopping. Once you are accustomed to the basics you will progress to more difficult areas like the town centre and industrial estates to practice amongst larger vehicle types and more.

The A390 dual-carriageway runs through the south of the town giving you the opportunity to practice emerging onto dual-carriageways, following distances and overtaking slower moving vehicles. During your course, you will visit other towns during your course to places such as Bodmin, Wadebridge and the city of Truro. It is also vital to incorporate village and country driving within your training. You may visit villages like Holmbush, Carlyon Bay, Charlestown, Porthpean, Trewhiddle, St Mewan, Polgooth, Sticker, Hewas Water, St Blazey, Par, Tywardreath, Trethurgy, Penwithick and Bugle.

Bodmin will be visited during your intensive driving course in St Austell.

At whatever stage you are at in your driving education, we have courses that cater to you. Our gold courses cater to brand new learners or learners with a few hours of experience. Our silver courses are perfect for someone who had a block of lessons or have had around 20 hours of lessons and our bronze courses are for learners who have recently failed a test, or have had lots of training with a parent, and are looking to polish over their knowledge prior to their test!

You will get to learn in an instructor’s tuition car. They will provide their car for the test aswell.

You will train for the majority of your crash course in St Austell. When your practical test appointment gets nearer, your training days will be geared towards preparing for your practical test appointment.
