Beginner – If you have never driven before, our Gold / Platinum range of courses is best for you. These courses are designed to help you pass your driving test quicker than conventional weekly driving lessons. Usually, these courses can take up to 2 – 3 weeks depending on a few circumstances and will inevitably require you to book time off or be available for a good portion of the day.

Intermediate – Our Silver courses are suited for learners who are confident enough and who have had approximately 20 hours of driving experience. This course will help you in closing the gap between where you’re currently at with your driving to becoming test standard.

Experienced – Have you driven abroad and need to transfer to a UK licence or do you need to pass your driving test as you have one booked? No matter what your situation is, we can help. Our Bronze courses are curated to make all learner drivers test standard before they go to test. We can book in the hours around your schedule and book your practical test for the end of your course too.

Stanley is based on the DH9 postcode and all of the other surrounding villages. Around Stanley are other places/settlements such as Harperley, Tanfield Lea, Tantobie, Tanfield, Quaking Houses, Beamish, High Hold, High Urpeth, Newfield & Annfield Plain. Stanley has no local test centre itself. So taking your driving test will require you to travel to other places/towns. If you’re living outside the town, you can travel to Sunderland or Northallerton test centres to take your test. Although these are far from your home town, all our driving instructors will take you to your practical test at these centres!

Stanley does not have its own theory test centre, this will require you to travel to the nearest test centre in town that would be situated in Sunderland. You cannot book a practical until you’ve passed the theory test, that’s why taking a theory test is very important.

With all our driving courses in Stanley, we don’t mind if you have not passed your theory yet. We like to take on learners who have not got their theory as we believe it’s just as important as the practical test.

If you don’t pass the first time, all driving courses above 20 hours will feature a free retest.
