Driving in Wallingford can be quiet as it only has a population of 11,000 residents. The roads will be historic and be narrow in some streets across Wallingford. Wallingford has a local high street and housing estates around the area. Although it is quiet, you will be learning the basics in Wallingford for the early part of your course but will have to travel to larger places to get access to more junctions, road types and high-speed roads.

A perfect one-week intensive driving course in Wallingford will be where you will learn all the driving topics, but this would require your driving instructor go out of Wallingford to towns like Abingdon, Didcot and Reading. Your crash course will be based outside of an urban area and on local country roads to give you on road practice with unmarked roads, animals, national speed limits and blind corners. You may visit local villages, parishes such as Crownmarsh Gifford, Winterbrook, Cholsey, North Stroke, Brightwell-cum-Sotwell, Benson, Shillingford, Warborough, South Moreton, North Moreton and Ewelme.

We will always take you to the area where your nearest test centre is. Oxford is the nearest city to Wallingford that has a test centre.

We have course packages starting from 10 hours all the way to 50 hours. Depending on your course package, you will complete the majority of your course in Wallingford, local towns and some villages. You will get to practice all of the topics, and your driving instructor in Wallingford will prioritise training on topics you find difficult.

Your driving instructor will arrive at your home address or a specified pickup location to conduct your training. They will also drop you off after each training session. Typical training days may last around 5 hours, but we don’t specify a certain amount of training as there are many factors that could affect this like tiredness, availability etc.
