Directions To Centre
Start your journey by driving north on the A970 if you’re coming by car. It leads directly into Lerwick. Once in the town, look for signs directing you to the theory test centre. There’s parking available nearby. If you’re relying on the train, head to the Aberdeen station. From there, take a ferry to Lerwick, as there are no rail lines on the islands. Alternatively, if you’re opting for the bus, catch a Stagecoach service towards Aberdeen. Once in Aberdeen, you’ll transfer to the ferry heading for Lerwick. Once you arrive, local buses or a short walk can take you the rest of the way.
