We can help guide you through the booking process. We will discuss everything from your driving background to booking your test!

    Driving In Bracklnell...

Driving in Bracknell will challenge the learner in many ways. With urban and rural parts, you will experience the busy town centre and tricky roads in the countryside. With roundabouts, dual carriage-ways and major crossroads, you will become an effective driver with the ability to judge, predict and drive safely around the roads in Bracknell.

You won’t just learn in Bracknell. You will be taken to nearby places like Wokingham, North Ascot and Binfield to experience different roads. This will further enhance your on-road knowledge as you will be driving through narrow streets, open country roads and busy urban places.

    Your Theory Test...

You can still book one of our courses if you have not got your theory test. You can include a theory test in your course and we will manage it for you.

Bracknell does not have a local theory test centre but nearby places such as Aldershot, Slough and Reading do. Bracknell has local transport links and you will be able to travel via train, taxi or bus to these towns. Remember to arrive 15 mins before your theory appointment starts and bring your provisional license or paper styled license and passport.

As preparing for your theory is one of the tasks you will need to complete in order to increase the chances of passing the first time, we have made a dedicated theory test course that will help aid your theory studies.

    Your Practical Test...

We manage your practical driving tests for you. If you are a brand new or a semi-trained learner driver, we will manage your test appointment to book it around your diary. As part of the service, we will put your test appointment onto a late cancellation checker service, which sources quicker test dates.

If you are looking to book far in the future, we can 99% assure we can get you a test date at your preferred dates. This is because we have a larger time frame than usual. We also look for dates for learners who are booking short notice. We continually look on the DVSA’s website manually every 2 hours of the working day & the late cancellation checker also notifies if there are spaces.

Bracknell does not have a practical test centre, but the nearest ones are in Crowthorne, Sandhurst and Egham. Your instructor will take you out of Bracknell and take you to the town your practical test is booked in. This will get you some familiar with the roads in the town and you will learn the local routes, the common places learners fail and more!

    The Training Week...

Your training week will be planned by your instructor and you will go over every topic in the driving syllabus. A typical training day will consist of 5 – 7 hours of tuition with breaks spread out over the day. Your instructor will assess your training as you progress and tailor the last few remaining hours around the topics you need practice on.

Your last 2 – 3 hours of your course will be reserved for your driving test as practical test appointments don’t always fall after the last training day. When the big day arrives, your instructor will take you out for pre-test training prior to your appointment to go over the test procedures, marking criteria and more. All courses reserve the last hour to the test as you are “hiring” the instructor’s car.

We also offer more flexible course options such as semi-intensive that follow the same principles as an ordinary course but spread over a longer time frame. You can learn over a longer time frame by having shorter training days. This is subject to our instructor’s availability and willingness to work shorter hours.
