Cirencester is a small town based in east Gloucestershire. If you are new to driving, you will start your course on quiet roads to learn basic car controls such as the MSPSL routine, the DSSSM cockpit routine and more. Once you are confident in the ability to control the car, your driving instructor in Cirencester will introduce tricker roads to enhance your overall driving ability.
Cirencester has a population of 19,000+ residents and you may face heavy traffic near the town centre and key roads connecting Cirencester to other major towns and cities during peak times of the day. Cirencester can only offer you some roads, but going to another place like Stroud, Malmesbury and Swindon will provide you with more roads, carriageways and a more diverse driving experience.
During your course, you may go out to local villages to learn about the country and rural driving. Some places you may visit are Stratton, Baunton, Perrott’s Brook, Siddington, Coates, Ampney Crucis and Calmsden.
Nearer the end of your course, you will travel to the town where your test resides. In most cases, Swindon will be the preferred centre of choice, as it’s closer. Getting to know Swindon will be done in the last few hours of your course!
