Intensive Driving Courses Crawley

Crawley is a large town with a population of 100,000 residents making it a large town to drive in. It is also home to Gatwick airport, which is one of the UK’s busiest airports with people up and down the country travelling to Gatwick. As a result of the airport being located in Crawley, traffic can get very congested during some parts of the day, especially during rush hour traffic.

When you start your intensive driving course in Crawley, you will learn the basic car manoeuvres like pulling over, mirror checks, the cockpit drill and observational checks. You will do this in many quiet streets, car parks scattered across the town. Once you have achieved a good level of control of the car, your driving instructor in Crawley will introduce more difficult things like emerging, parallel parking etc as your training progresses.

Near Crawley, you may visit other towns such as Horsham, Horley and Redhill. You may also visit local villages and parishes to experience countryside driving in places like Lowfield Heath, Russ Hill, Lambs Green, Holmbush, Colgate, Pease Cottage, Handcross, Rusper and Charlwood.

Courses are structured around your diary. We typically do 3 – 6 hours of training per day and this done over a week or two weeks. And if you prefer to shorter or longer training sessions, we can accomodate your preference.

During your course, you will be learning all of the topics driving has to offer. From mirror checks to parallel parking on a steep hill, your allocated instructor will guide you through until you are at a good standard for the test.

Crawley, fortunately, does have a test centre. You can learn and take a practical exam in the same town without having to travel out further afield. If you want to take your practucal test centre at another test centre, you can also take your test at Redhill Aerodrome test centre.
