Eastbourne is a town based on the south coast of England and is approximately 19 miles away from Brighton. With a population of 103,000 people, it is quite a large town that has grown in recent years. Tourism in Eastbourne has grown exponentially in the past few decades with more hotels, holiday lodges and resorts opening up in Eastbourne. With this deluge of interest, the summer months can be particularly busy when it comes to traffic and congestion. So, when it comes to learning to drive, it is important to develop experience with heavy traffic during peak driving times of the day. Once you have mastered the basics of driving, you will advance out of town and may visit Polegate, Seaford and Hailsham.
As part of your training, your driving instructor will venture out of town to local and rural destinations such as Birling Gap, Stone Cross, Chalvington, Shorgate, Seaford, Polegate, Normans Bay, Pevensey, Bexhill, Cowbeech, Folkington, Jevington, Litlington, Lullington, Alciston.
During the last part of your course, your driving instructor will prepare you for your driving test. Your driving lessons will be based on test route planning, independent driving, and mock driving tests. Once you feel you are ready to pass, you will take your driving test.
