That’s why we are here to guide choosing the right course for you in the beginning so you can maximise the best chances of passing the first time. Here are the 3 descriptions to give you a brief understanding of which course is suitable for you. Beginner – If you have very little driving practice or you have never driven before, our Gold / Platinum range of courses is ideal for you. These courses will cover topics that will help you become a safe driver. The theory & practical tests can be included in these courses too. You can prepare for your theory before you start your intensive course, then at the end of the course, we will give you an ideal test date. We advise booking early to ensure you have first pickings of ideal dates.
Intermediate – If you’re part trained or have done some driving lessons years ago, then booking onto our Silver intensive courses will help you get on the road sooner. These courses will help you cover all of the driving topics you have struggled with and have not covered, so you have the best possible chance of passing the test on the first go! Book a silver course today and get on the road soon.
Experienced – If you are an experienced driver, you usually need our Bronze courses. This is right for you if you have failed a driving test and need a quick refresher course to crack on with your test. If you have lots of training and not had much test training either, these courses are good to overview your driving and go over any bad habits and areas of weakness prior to your driving test.

Mountain Ash does not have a local test centre itself. So taking your driving test will require you to travel to other places. If you’re living outside the town, you can travel to Bridgend or Cardiff to take your test. Although these are far from your hometown of Mountain Ash, all our driving instructors will take you to your practical test at these centres!

Taking your theory test is as much important as taking your practical test. That’s why we are putting emphasis on both the theory and the practical test. Typically, a learner will purchase a theory guide or download a theory app and that would be enough. But sometimes it won’t suffice and it can lead to not passing the theory test in any desirable time frames.

We will rebook a test if you fail your driving test. Before taking your next test, your driving instructor will assess how many extra lessons you will need.
Can I still book if my theory runs out?
Definitely! Upon searching test cancellations, we aim to plan your course around your test date if your theory is running out soon. We may need more notice or less depending on the time of year.
