To give you a brief understanding of the courses below are short descriptions of the different courses we offer. Beginner – If you have no driving experience, you may look at our Gold / Platinum range of courses. These courses or “Beginner Courses” are suitable for the new candidate who is keen to start off on the right path of driving. These courses are designed to help you pass your driving test quicker than conventional weekly driving lessons. Usually, these courses can take up to 2 – 3 weeks depending on a few circumstances and will inevitably require you to book time off or be available for a good portion of the day.
Intermediate – If you have had a driving experience or driving practice before, you may be ready to take our driving test. Yet, this intermediate course will be your greatest help from becoming unusual to a calibre driver.
Experienced – Driving and transfer to a UK licence may need you to pass your driving test. LPOD Academy will help you in this situation. Book with our Bronze courses that are curated to make all learner drivers test standard before they go to test. We can book in the hours around your schedule and book your practical test for the end of your course too.

If your town does not have a test centre, we will have you covered! Our instructor will book the appointment on your behalf at Nairn. You can travel to Inverness or Elgin to take your test. Take note that we offer absolutely free retest if you are unable to clear the test the second time.

Nairn does not have its own theory test centre, this will require you to travel to the nearest test centre located in Inverness.
We are taking a theory test very important as you cannot book a practical until you’ve passed your theory test.
However, with all our intensive driving courses, we don’t mind if you have not passed your theory yet. We like to take on learners who have not got their theory as we believe it’s just as important as the practical test.Â

How many hours do courses be taken?
The course can vary in time but our goal is to complete your course as soon as possible. Typically within 1 - 2 weeks.
Do I need to pass my theory test first?
No, you can book a course even without passing your theory test.
How many possible attempts do I get?
All courses that include the theory & practical have 1 attempt each. However, if you book a 20+ hour course, you are automatically entitled to a free retest.
Do you offer pick-ups from home address?
In most areas in the UK, we do cover pick-ups from home address. Please get in touch with us, if you still want to make sure we can pick you up.
What happens if I fail my driving test?
If you fail in your driving test, the first thing we do is to rebook a test. Prior to taking your next test, you will be assessed by your driving instructor on how many extra lessons you will need.
