Deciding what course you need is vital to ensure you have the best chances of passing the first time. If you’re still not sure which course is best for you, we have plenty of course packages that range from beginner to experienced levels. Below, is a brief description of which level you may be at. Beginner – If you have no or very little driving experience in a car, then you may need to look at our Platinum / Gold courses. These are curated to help you cover all of the driving topics from the basics. Usually, these courses will last over 2 or more weeks. If you need to book time off or have limited time for these courses, book in advance so you can secure more preferable dates!

Intermediate – If you have some practice or had lessons a while ago, then you are almost there & ready to take a test. But a medium-sized course will help close the gap between where you’re currently at to becoming test standard.

Experienced – Our Bronze courses are most suitable for experienced drivers. If you need a quick refresher course because for some reason you have failed your driving test, these courses will help crack on with your test. If you have lots of training and not had much test training either, these courses are good to overview your driving and go over areas of weakness prior to your driving test.

Norton Canes straddles the UK’s first and only Toll Motorway, the M6 Toll which has its northern Toll Plaza and Norton Canes Services is the only service for that motorway.

Norton Canes does not have its own test centre. So when taking your driving test you will be required to travel to another town with which you can take your driving test. You can travel to Wolverhampton and Dudley. Although these centres are far from Norton Canes, your instructor will take you to these places when it comes to your test.

The goal of taking your driving test is to make you safe while driving and help you become a confident driver and the exam will only test your ability. Kindly visit our practical test centres index page if you need more information on different test centres.

Passing your theory test is the first step in everyone’s learning journey. Without it, taking a practical test is impossible. We put as much emphasis on the theory as we do the practical.

Norton Canes does not have its own theory test centre, if you live here, you will require travel to other settlements to take your test. You can take your test in a nearby test centre that would be situated in Wolverhampton.

With all our courses offered, we don’t mind if you have not passed your theory yet. We like to take on learners who have not got their theory as we believe it’s just as important as the practical test.
