Shrewsbury is a town with a population of over 70,000 so learners can expect to drive on ample and steady roads albeit hilly ones as Shrewsbury is situated in Shropshire which contains lots of high relief areas. The A5 dual carriageway wraps around to the south of Shrewsbury and connects it to towns such as Wrexham and Chester.

With the aforementioned Wrexham and Chester, your instructor will take you to these towns to help you get used to different types of roads and traffic situations. Likewise your instructor will help you practise your rural driving in places such as Bicton Heath, Baystone Hill, Condover, Montford Bridge, Uffington, Atcham, Battlefield, Leaton and Bomere Heath.

During the end stages of your course, your instructor will reserve the last few hours training you within the vicinity of your test centre. They’ll teach you all sorts such as calming traffic measures, roundabouts and road safety.

If your town or city doesn’t have a test centre, no need to worry as your test can be taken simply in the nearest one to you. And don’t worry if you don’t quite pass first time, as all of our courses over 15 hours offers a free retest on both theory and practical!

Intensive courses are better than regular driving lessons as it’s gets you your driving license in a quicker amount of time which means you can focus on getting other things done like saving up for a car and car insurance!
