    Driving On The Roads In St Ives

    St Ives is a town based in the county of Cornwall. It is a popular tourist destination during the summer season and can have lots of people at one time in the town centre. St Ives is full of narrow roads controlled by one-way street signs and can test your ability to concentrate. Also, St Ives is very hilly, making you use your first gear going uphill and downhill.


    Getting to St Ive’s can be easy as the A30 dual carriageway goes round Hayle going down to Penance. You will need to go to the St Ives road if you are coming from the east past Hayle.     Yes. We aim to book a practical test for the end of your intensive driving course in Street. Once you have passed your theory test we will get on and book your test. We use third-party companies to source a cancellation on your behalf.

    Do you offer automatic tuition courses?

    Yes. Please call 0800 112 3515 to see how if we have automatic courses in your area. As electric cars are becoming more and more popular, more and more driving instructors are converting to automatic tuition.

    What course is best for me?

    Simply look on our course section where it will guide you through which courses will suit you best. The average learner will need 47 hours of professional tuition with 22 hours of private practice.     How many training hours will I do in one day?

    This depends on each course. Most courses aim to do 5 hours a day. However courses are flexible, and this is agreed between instructor and pupil. Typically between 3-6 hours per day!

    Will I get home pick up?

    Yes. We aim to offer all the courses from home. However a small minority of students may need to have ana alternative plan if we don't have an instructor in a remote area for example.

    All of our courses come with different costs. There are many options to choose from. Location, amount of hours, tests needed etc. Once you have filled out the online form you will be able to get an instant quote on our booking page.     Do I need to pass my theory before I can do a course?

    No. We can arrange everything for you whilst you train and wait for your theory test.
