Below are the 3 descriptions to give you a brief understanding of which course is suitable for you. Beginner – You may need to look at our Platinum / Gold courses if you have very little experience driving a car. These courses are designed to help you cover all of the driving topics and go from the very beginning of your course to the end of your journey. These courses will usually last over 2 or more weeks. No more waiting months. Kindly book in advance so you can secure more preferable dates!

Intermediate – If you have some practice or had lessons a while ago, then you are almost there & ready to take a test. But a medium-sized course will help close the gap between where you’re currently at to becoming test standard.

Experienced – Courses for experienced drivers usually need our Bronze courses. If you have failed a driving test and need a quick refresher course to crack on with your test, then this is right for you. If you have lots of training and have not had much test training either, these courses are good to overview your driving and go over any bad habits, areas of weakness, prior to your driving test.

Strathaven is based on the ML10 postcode and all of the other surrounding villages. Around Strathaven are other places/settlements such as Glassford, Chapelton, Stonehouse, Quarter, Larkhall, Blackwood, Kirkmuirhill-Blackwood, Netherburn, Hamilton & East Kilbride. Helping learners to become test standards and be familiar with the area prior to taking their driving test is our main goal in our intensive courses.

Strathaven has no test centre itself, so taking your driving test will require you to travel to the nearby test centres that would be situated in Lanark and Cumnock. Our driving instructors will take you to these centres prior to taking your test.

Booking a practical test is impossible until you’ve passed your theory test. So theory test is as important as the practical.

Strathaven has no test centre itself. This will require you to travel to another test centre to take your test. You can travel to the nearest test centre located in Stirling.

Take notes that if you don’t pass the first time, there’s a free retest featured in all our driving courses above 20 hours.
