All intensive driving courses are based on a combined practice of 45 hours which is stipulated by the DVSA as the amount of training you will NEED to be good enough to be able to pass your driving test. Many people under-book their training expecting to pass first time. So, making sure you pick the right course is vital. Of course, there are some exceptions to the rule. But if you are not sure, please give us a call.
Beginner – Gold and Platinum courses. If you have no or very little driving experience a car, then you may need to look at our Platinum / Gold courses. These are designed to help you cover all of the driving topics and go from A – Z in the driving syllabus. These courses tend to be done over 10-15 training days, and can be flexible to your needs. Again, not everyone has the same schedule, or life commitments, we will arrange your course to best fit and serve you.
Intermediate – Silver courses. If you have some practice or had lessons a while ago, then you are almost there & ready to take a test. But a medium-sized course will help close the gap between from where you’re currently at to becoming test standard. Most pupils will have had at least 10-15 hours prior to booking one of our silver courses. Make sure you pick the course based on your previous driving experience.
Experienced – Bronze courses. These courses are for experienced drivers who usually need 10-15 hours of training. If you have failed a driving test and need a quick refresher course to crack on with your test, then this is right for you. If you have lots of training and not had much test training either, these courses are good to overview your driving and go over any bad habits, areas of weakness, prior to your driving test.
