Intensive Driving Courses In Totton and Eling

Beginner (Gold & Platinum) These courses are for beginner and novice learner drivers. Ranging from 35 hours to 50 hours, we have a course for every learner driver. If you think you’ll need more time training, then pick either our 45 or 50-hour course to make sure you get the training you need. All of our courses are based on the DVSA’s recommendation of 50 hours.

Intermediate (Silver)  – If you have had some driving lessons previously, then one of these courses is for you. Typically most students have had some training prior to booking an intensive driving course. This may mean that you have had between 10 hours to 25 hours of training previously. Our silver courses range from 20 hours to 30 hours dependent on your previous experience.

Experienced – (Bronze) Our bronze courses are designed for learners and drivers who are very confident behind the wheel. Of course, when it comes to your driving test, we want to make sure you know what to do when it comes to your big day. These courses will focus on ‘the little extras, getting rid of any habits, and ensuring you are compliant with the rules of the driving test.

With a population of 29,000 residents, this sizeable town was once a large village. It was widely acclaimed as the largest village in England. It was made into a town in 1974. Totton and Eling is a medium sized town with a population of nearly 30,000. This once village claimed town status in 1974. Not far from the New Forest, and the A35 is the main access road out of the town. Ponies once were allowed to roam the streets, but since its urbanisation growth and development, the town now mainly consists of residential and shops.

Taking a driving test will require you to travel out of town for your driving test. Your nearest driving test centre is Southampton. Southampton has two driving test centres. Goodmayes and Forest Hills Whether you take your test at Goodmayes or Forest Hills your driving instructor will help you become familiar with the area on your intensive driving course. Once you are ready for your driving test, you will sit your driving test.

Our goal at LPOD Academy is to help you pass your driving test first time. Once you start your course, you will have lots of support throughout your training. We have a wide range of extra material to help you pass your driving test. Including our learner driver youtube channel. All of these things are there to help you pass your driving test on the first go.

As part of your intensive driving course, we also have an online theory training course. This course will help you pass your theory test on the first go. Approximately 12 hours to complete. Our video based course is ideal for learners who struggle with reading, and English is not their first language.

So as part of all our intensive driving courses, we aim to help all of our learners pass both their theory test and practical test on the first go. As Totton and Eling doesn’t have a theory test centre, you will need to travel to Southampton’s theory test centre to take your theory test.
