Wakefield is a large urban town based in West Yorkshire. With a population 100,000 residents, it can get busy during peak times of the day which will test your ability when meeting oncoming traffic. Wakefield is positioned south of the major city of Leeds which makes the M1 motorway generally busy. You also have access to many high-speed carriageways like the Doncaster Road, A650 and the M1 motorway.

During your crash course in Wakefield, you may visit other nearby places to get a wide range of driving experience. Places like Dewsbury, Leeds and Castleford could be other towns and cities you visit. Your course will also include a visit to local villages to get country and rural experience in places like Kirkthorpe, Wrenthorpe, Kirkhamgate, Flushdyke, Ossett, Carr Gate, Horbury, Walton, Durkar, Calder Grove, Crigglestone, Chapelthorpe, Newmillerdam, Crofton, Stanley, Altofts and Normanton.
