Yeovil is a moderately sized town based in the county of Somerset. With a population number of around 45,000, Yeovil is a large place for many things industrial and often is a large commuter hub for outside residents. During peak times of the day, Yeovil can become very congested in certain choke points.

Although Yeovil offers many types of roads, it is still useful to travel out further afield to get a wider flavour of roads in other towns such as Crewkerne, Dorchester and Chard. The A37 dual-carriageway is a great place to practice high-speed roads and emerging on and off a carriageway. After you have completed the majority of your course, your crash course in Yeovil will be geared towards preparing for the practical test itself. Your driving instructor will make you undergo mock tests, show you some local test routes and highlight difficult parts of Yeovil from past experience.
