We are an intensive driving course provider, working with DVSA-approved instructors across 95% of the UK, in England, Wales and Scotland. We have arranged intensive courses since 2016, and more than 500 instructors already work with us. If you want intensive pupils, paid at full market rates, with the admin taken off your desk, we would like to hear from you.
Why instructors choose LPOD
Full market rates, no bidding. Some providers run an auction and hand the job to whoever goes lowest. We do not. You are never asked to undercut another instructor to win work. Pay instructors properly, and learners get taught properly.
A steady stream of intensive pupils. Our learners come to us for intensive courses, so the work arrives in blocks rather than scattered single hours, anywhere from 10 hours up to 50. Fill a week instead of chasing individual lessons around a map.
Your diary stays yours. You tell us the days and hours you can work. Training runs seven days a week, between 6am and 7pm, in sessions of 2 to 6 hours. Take the work that fits and leave the rest, nobody allocates you a pupil you have not agreed to.
We handle the admin. Our support team deals with enquiries, bookings, deposits, theory test bookings, theory training and test date support. You get a pupil, a plan and a schedule, so you can spend your time teaching.
What we ask
You need to be a DVSA-approved driving instructor (ADI), with:
A current ADI badge
A suitable dual-controlled car
Insurance that covers this work
Beyond that, we ask for the standards our learners are promised:
Turn up on time and prepared
Keep the car clean and roadworthy
Be honest with a learner about when they are ready for a test, and when they are not, even when that is not the answer they want
We work to the DVSA Code of Conduct, and hold everyone who works with us to it. Our learners are paying for an intensive course, often with a parent watching the bank transfer leave. They notice the difference between an instructor who is prepared and one who is not. So do we.
