Reaching the Boston theory test centre by road means following the main routes into the town centre, where parking can be limited on market days, so it’s worth allowing extra time to find a space nearby. Rail travellers can use Boston railway station, which sits within walking distance of the town centre, leaving a short walk to finish the journey to the test centre itself. Bus services connect Boston with the surrounding towns many learners travel from, including Holbeach, Pinchbeck and Kirton, running into the town’s bus station before a final short walk to the centre. Learners coming from Lincoln, further along the county, should factor in a longer journey whether driving or using rail links, particularly if travelling during school-run or commuter peak times. Whichever way you arrive, aim to reach the centre with ten minutes or so in hand: DVSA staff will not admit candidates who arrive once their appointment slot has begun, and a missed test has to be rebooked and paid for again.
