By road, the A46 and the M40 both bring you into Stratford-upon-Avon; once there, follow the signs towards the town centre, where parking is available a short distance from the venue. Rail travellers should head for Stratford-upon-Avon Railway Station, a short walk from the test centre. Those coming by bus can catch a service into the main bus station, a brief walk from the centre itself. Aim to arrive around fifteen minutes early, since check-in and security screening add time before the test itself starts. The booking itself runs through GOV.UK, under your own account, and setting that up in advance rather than at the last minute means more choice over which day and time you get. If you’re planning ahead to the practical test too, the booking process changes from 12 May 2026: only the candidate will be able to book or manage that DVSA appointment from then on, so it’s worth having your details organised in advance. The practical test has its own fee later on, £62 on a weekday, on top of the £23 you’ll have already paid to sit theory.
