When taking your driving test, Irvine has a test centre itself and it will not require you to travel to other towns. There are other nearby test centres located in Ayr and Greenock. Although they are far from Irvine, your instructor will take you to these places when it comes to your test.

When doing your intensive course, the goal isn’t about the test, the aim is to make you a safe and confident driver and the test is there to only test your ability. If you need more information on different test centres, please also consider looking at our practical test centres index page.

    Theory Test Centres Near Irvine

Passing the theory test is the first step in everyone’s learning journey. Without taking the theory test, booking a practical test is impossible. Here at LPOD Academy, we are putting as much emphasis on the theory as we do with the practical.

All of our intensive driving courses in Irvine, include a theory test to help you pass it before you start your intensive courses.

Irvine has no test centre itself. So taking your theory test will require you to travel to other places/towns. You can still take your test in another centre that would be situated in Ayr.
