Establishing which course you need is vital to ensure you’re prepared for your driving test. No matter what stage you are at, we have something for everyone. If you’re unsure about which course is best for you, here is a brief guide on what to look for, depending on your current circumstance. Below are the 3 levels and one of these will apply to you dependant on your current driving background. Beginner – Our Gold / Platinum courses are suited for beginners, learners who don’t have any driving experience or even those who are nervous drivers. We have a range of courses which are suitable for a new candidate like yourself who is keen to start off on the right path of driving. To secure more preferable dates, we advise you to book in advance.
Intermediate – If you are one of the learners who have previously achieved the basics on level one of the syllabus or even those who stopped their driving practice before for some reason, our Silver Courses will help you to continue your driving journey. These courses will help you brush up on your driving technique and go over that all-important driving test sheet! Book a silver course today and continue your driving journey.
Experienced – Learners who have had more than 30 – 35 hours of training or even who recently failed the test and looking for a course to assess their current driving ability, our Bronze courses will suit you best. These courses will help you keep the momentum going especially if you have failed a test. Your driving instructor will help you become the best version of yourself for your test.

Abergele does not have a local test centre itself. So when taking your driving test, you will need to travel to the nearby town. There are test centres located in Rhyl and Bala too. There’s nothing to worry about, although these centres are far from your home town of Abergele, your instructor will take you to these places when it comes to your test

Abergele does not have its own theory test centre, this will require you to travel to the nearest test centre that would be situated in Rhyl.
You cannot book a practical until you’ve passed the theory test, that’s why taking a theory test is very important. With all our intensive courses, we don’t mind if you have not passed your theory yet. We like to take on learners who have not got their theory as we believe it’s just as important as the practical test.
If you don’t pass the first time, all driving courses above 20 hours will feature a free retest.

When can start I the course?
We advise starting in no less than 4 weeks. On some occasions, we may be able to offer earlier start date. The shorter the course the earlier we may be able to start. If you have not got your theory we advise a month so we can have enough time to plan everything from passing your theory test so we can source a test date for you.

Will my driving instructors take me to my test centre?
Absolutely. Our driving instructor will take your driving test. You are more than welcome if you wish to take your own car to test.
Do you allow breaks in your courses?
Your driving instructor will keep an eye on your progress at all times. Fortunately, breaks are part of the training too!
I struggle with my theory because I am dyslexic. Can you help me?
We have a 12-hour online course that will help you pass your driving theory test. It is designed for people who prefer to learn by watching videos and who may take the test in audio.
