Not sure which course is best for you? We have plenty of course packages that range from beginner to experienced levels. Below, is a brief description of which level you may be at. These descriptions will give you an idea of which course is best for you. Beginner – If you’re starting from the very start with driving then, our Gold / Platinum courses will be best for you! Our beginner courses will cover every aspect of the driving test sheet to help you become a safe driver. These courses can also include the theory & practical tests too, so you can prepare for your theory before you start your intensive course. We can secure you an ideal test date for the end of your course. Book early as it will give you more access to better start dates and timings.
Intermediate – Have done some driving lessons years ago or have you been part trained? Then you may look at Silver courses. These courses will help you close the gap from where you left off and help you become test standard. Get on the road soon! Book a silver intensive course today to pass your test real quick.
Experienced – If you have failed a driving test and need a quick refresher course, then our Bronze course is right for you. If you have driving experience before or you need lots of training and not had much test training either, these courses are good to overview your driving. It will help go over any bad habits and areas of weakness prior to your driving test.

Passing your driving test will solely be down to how you do on your test. No course is guaranteed, but you will gradually become better and better throughout your course.
Clowne has no local test centre itself. You will require to travel to other nearby test centres that would be situated in Chesterfield & Sheffield. Your driving instructor will take you there prior to taking a test.
The goal with every intensive course is to make sure you’re test standard and are familiar with the area prior to taking your test! If you need more information on different test centres, you may want to browse through our practical test centres index page.
Clowne does not have a theory test centre itself, this will require you to travel to another test centre nearby such as Chesterfield. Taking a theory test is very important as you cannot book a practical until you’ve passed the theory test.
With all our courses, we don’t mind if you have not passed your theory yet. We like to take on learners who have not got their theory as we believe it’s just as important as the practical test.
If you don’t pass the first time, all driving courses above 20 hours will feature a free retest.

It's better to book your course early to choose better dates that suit your availability. It also helps us find you the ideal test date.
Do you allow breaks in the training?
Your driving instructor will keep an eye on your progress at all times. Fortunately, breaks are part of the training too!
I’m dyslexic, I need help with the theory?
No worries! To help you pass your theory test, we provide an online theory course. We use video & audio training to make it easier for you to understand.
Does my driving instructor take me to the test?
Yes. Our driving instructor will take your driving test. You are more than welcome if you wish to take your own car to test.
What happens if I fail my driving test?
The first thing we will do is to rebook you a test when you failed your test. We will book another test asap depending on your booking. Your driving instructor will assess how many extra lessons you will need prior to taking your next test.
