Beginner – If you are just about to start your driving journey, you may look at our Gold / Platinum courses. These courses are ranging from 35 – 50 hours. These are suited for beginner learners who have very little driving practice, or even those who have never driven before. 

Intermediate – If you stopped your driving practice before for some reason, you may want to continue your driving journey by booking our Silver Courses. These courses will help you discover all the driving techniques and go over that all-important driving test sheet!

Experienced – Have you recently failed your test and looking for a course to assess your current driving ability? Then our Bronze courses will suit you best. These courses will help you keep the momentum going especially if you have failed a test. Your driving instructor will help you become the best version of yourself for your test.

Consett is based on the DH8 postcode and all of the other surrounding villages. Around Consett are other places/settlements such as Shotley Bridge, Medomsley Edge, Knitsley, East Law, Allensford, Castleside, Maiden Law, Iveston, Lanchester & Rowley. Consett does not have its own test centre. So when taking your driving test, you will require travel to the nearby town. There are test centres located in Sunderland and Northallerton where you can take your test. Your instructor will take you to these places when it comes to your test.

At the end of every intensive course, all learners will be test-standard and a confident driver! If you need more information on different test centres, please also consider looking at our practical test centres index page.

Booking a practical is impossible until you’ve passed your theory test, that’s why taking a theory test is very important.

Consett does not have its own theory test centre, this will require you to travel to the nearest test centre that would be situated in Sunderland.

With all our intensive driving courses in Consett, we don’t mind if you have not passed your theory yet. We like to take on learners who have not got their theory as we believe it’s just as important as the practical test
