Establishing which course you need is vital to ensure you’re prepared for your driving test. If you’re unsure about which course is best for you, then here is a brief guide on what to look for, depending on your current circumstance. Below is a brief description of 3 levels and one of these will apply to you dependant on your current driving background. If you need us to recommend a course, then you can either use our course recommender quiz or call us on 0800 112 3515!
Beginner – If you have no or very little driving experience a car, then you may need to look at our Platinum / Gold courses. These are designed to help you cover all of the driving topics and go from A – Z in the driving syllabus. Usually, these courses will last over 2 or more weeks. If you need to book time off or have limited time for these courses, then booking in advanced is better as you can secure more preferable dates!
Intermediate – If you have some practice or had lessons a while ago, then you are almost there & ready to take a test. But a medium-sized course will help close the gap between from where you’re currently at to becoming test standard.
Experienced – Courses for experienced drivers usually need our Bronze courses. If you have failed a driving test and need a quick refresher course to crack on with your test, then this is right for you. If you have lots of training and not had much test training either, these courses are good to overview your driving and go over any bad habits, areas of weakness, prior to your driving test.

Sawston does not have its own test centre, so taking a driving test will require traveling to the Cambridge test centre. If you are a little further, you may travel to Stevenage. All the courses we offer will include instructors taking you to your practical test at these centres.

We put as much emphasis on the theory as we do with the practical because we believe that taking your theory is as important as taking your practical.
So as part of all our intensive driving courses in Sawston, all learners will be able to access our free theory course included with all bookings. It’s a video-based theory course to help you become more confident with the theory test!

Are intensive driving courses really worth it?
We believe so! Of course, we are biased - but, intensive driving courses are becoming more and more demanding than ever before. The Millenials want to get passed quick. Life demands quick passing - that is why our company exists. There really is no need to drag learning out over months and months.
