Gateshead is a town in Tyne and Wear, England, on the southern ban of the River Tyne opposite Newcastle upon Tyne. Gateshead is a large town with a population of 120,046. The town is heavily known for its architecture, such as the Angel of the North, the Baltic Centre of Contemporary Art. Gateshead being a large town, several road links passes through it, such as A1 which connects London to Edinburgh and the A184 which connects the town to Sunderland, you will be covering all aspects of driving in Gateshead with your driving instructor.
Gateshead connects to the nearby towns of Newcastle-upon-Tyne, Chester-le-Street & Sunderland, you will be driving to these towns for some out of town experience, you will learn about road diversity and motorway driving. It’s also best to learn about rural driving along with urban driving, you will be driving to the nearby villages of Tyne and Wear such as Wallsend, Tynemouth, Jarrow, Whitley Bay, South Shields etc.
Towards the end of your course, you need to clear a driving test in order to get the driving license, thus the last few hours will be dedicated to it.
