Driving On The Roads In Glastonbury

Glastonbury is a small town in Somerset, with a population of 9,000 residents. It is famous for the Glastonbury Music Festival that is held in June every year. Learning to drive in Glastonbury will help with the basics of driving, with its MANY ample residential and urban areas. Glastonbury has lots of hills, so your hill starts will be awesome by the time you come to the end of your core driving sets. Glastonbury resides on the A361 and is a stone’s throw from the A37 road. Although the majority of roads are single carriageways – you will need to travel further-a-field to gain more experience with dual carriageways. Typically, you may need to visit places such as Yeovil, Taunton and Bridgwater.

Once you have learnt the basics of driving, it is important to get out of town to experience with route planning, independent driving and country lanes. Glastonbury does have a lot of country lanes, so, when it comes to learning to drive – you are spoilt for choice. You are likely to venture out to places such as Baltonsborough, Butleigh, Compton Dundon, Ditcheat, Batcombe, Wedmore, Mark, Godney, Meare, West Pennard, Oakhill, Shepton Mallett, Cranmore, Evercreech, Lydford-on-cross, Somerton, Long Sutton, Westonzoyland, Langport, Pitcombe.

When it comes to your theory test, your local theory test centre is Yeovil. Also, your nearest driving test centre is Yeovil . During the final throws of your intensive driving course in Glastonbury, your driving instructor will conduct your driving lessons in and around the driving test centre area to which you are taking your driving test. Typically, in this case in Yeovil. However, there are other test centres nearby, which include Taunton also. You will practice driving test routes, alongside doing a mock driving test. With all course bookings, we do offer a FREE re-test, in case you do NOT pass the first time, that is how confident we are in courses.
