Hove  is located near Brighton. In 1997, Hove merged with Brighton to form a borough, and in 2011, Brighton and Hove were granted city status. Collectively, Brighton and Hove have a population of 92,000 residents according to the 2011 census. Situated on the south coast, Brighton boasts its own university and features a wealth of Georgian architecture. Learning to drive in Hove offers a comprehensive experience with its many hills, narrow streets, and ring road. The city is characterised by numerous crossroads, urban and residential areas, and an abundance of roundabouts and traffic lights.
As part of your driving course, you will gain experience in neighbouring towns such as Worthing, Bognor Regis, and Eastbourne. Local drives will take you to places like Falmer, Fulking, Lancing, Clapham, Small Dole, Steyning, Henfield, Portslade, Findon, Washington, Kingston, Burgess Hill, Barcombe, Rodmell, Ditchling, Plumpton, West Chiltington, Ringmer, Shoreham-by-Sea, Storrington, Glynde, Barcombe, and Hickstead.
Your driving test will be scheduled at the end of the course, typically at the start of the following week. Your driving instructor will tailor your training to help you become familiar with the local area. In most cases, Lancing driving test centre will be your preferred location for taking your test. During the final hours of your course, you will be thoroughly prepared for your exam by conducting mock driving tests.
