Hull is a large city in northern England. Originally, Kingston-Upon-Hull, nowadays locals tend to abbreviate the name to just Hull. With a population of 260,000 people according to the 2011 census, Hull is a port city and has originally been a market town, a military supply port and a trading hub. Hull is 25 miles inland from the North Sea and lays on the river Humber Estuary and is joined by the River Hull which was great for shipping and exporting for trade.
During your intensive driving course in Hull, your driving instructor will commence some of your driving lessons in Hull. Once you are confident with the basics and have advanced onto some more complex set pieces of driving – you may drive to other places such as Cottingham, Hessle, Preston and Hedon.
As part of your training, your driving instructor will commence some of your driving lessons in more rural areas surrounding Hull. This is where you will gain out-of-town driving experiences, and develop and enhance your rural driving skills. With the A1033 nearby, you will develop good control at high-speeds, develop overtaking experience with confidence and learn navigational skills as part of your independent driving. Your driving instructor will save the remaining few hours of your intensive driving course in Hull for your driving test. You will more than likely take your driving test in Hull. Sometimes, however, this may be done elsewhere. Every course is unique to each customer due to the many variables involved. During your training – you will do some mock driving tests, and get to know some of the complex roundabouts, junctions and dual carriageways which you may do whilst on your driving test.
