Portland is in the south of the resort of Weymouth, on the southermost point of the county of Dorset, England. The town has a population of around 12,400. The major road link is the A35 road that travels through the entire town.

Portland is nearby the following towns of Weymouth, Bridport & Dorchester, these town are different and much larger in area, and thus you can practice there with different routes and roads. It is always best to travel and drive to the nearby villages to ensure rural driving skills and practice for your test, thus you can expect driving to the nearby villages of Abbotsbury, Corfe Castle, Cerne Abbas, Milton Abbas, Puddletown, Broadwindsor etc.

The ending hours will be spent practicing for the driving test – with an aim that you clear the test in the first go!
