Intensive Driving Courses Shaftesbury

Shaftesbury has a population of over 7,000 so learners can expect to drive on calm and steady roads when entering the town, though given it’s location, the learner will encounter lot’s of hilly roads as well. The A350 dual carriageway passes  to the east of Shaftesbury and connects the town to the nearby places of Warminster and Iwerne Minster.

Your instructor will take you to the aforementioned towns of Alcester and Gillingham to help you experience different kinds of roads and traffic situations, as well as your instructor will take you to some surrounding villages, to help you practise rural driving, such as Motcombe, Cann, Cann Common, Melbury Abbas, East Stour, Stour Row, Ludwell, Birdbush, Milkwell, Compton Abbas, Fontmell Abbas and Hartgrove.

During the latter stage of your course, your instructor will spend the last few hours training you within the vicinity of your chosen test centre. Your instructor will teach you an array of things like calming traffic measures, emerging on dual carriageways and roundabouts.

We have courses for all types of people who are partaking in driving tests, whether you are a new student, someone with experience or someone who didn’t quite pass their test the first time! Our courses range from 10 – 50 hours, so you can be sure there’s a course for you! All of our instructors are knowledgeable of the area and are regularly DVSA monitored and CRB checked. They will standardised learning practices to help you become more skilled in areas you’re lacking!

If your town does not have a test centre, no need to worry. Your test can be taken in any test centre in the country and we’ll simply use the one that’s nearest to you! When a course is booked, you’ll be able to keep in contact with your instructor during the course to talk about any queries you have and to arrange timings!
