    Driving On The Roads In Stamford

    Stamford is located in Lincolnshire, bordering the county of Cambridgeshire to the south. It is situated near Burghley Park and Burghley House making it busy when tourists arrive. It has easy links to other places with the A606 going to the west and the east of Stamford. And the A1 dual-carriageway connects Stamford to areas the south-east which then turns into the A1 (motorway) further down the carriageway.

     

    During your intensive driving course in Stamford, you will visit other places like Peterborough (local test centre is here), Corby and Oakham to get a wider flavour of roads and more challenging roads. Also, you will get to encounter more rural driving by visiting villages like Uffington, Pilsgate, Barnack, Bainton, Ashton, Ufford, Easton on the Hill, Ketton, Tickencote, Great Casterton, Little Casterton, Belmesthorpe, Essendine, Ryhall and Tallington.

     

    When you take your driving test in Stamford, you will have to travel to either Peterborough (nearest) or Grantham to take a driving test.

    Will there be a practical test booked for the end of my course>

    Yes. We aim to book a practical test for the end of your intensive driving course in Street. Once you have passed your theory test we will get on and book your test. We use third-party companies to source a cancellation on your behalf.

    Do you offer automatic tuition courses?

    Yes. Please call 0800 112 3515 to see how if we have automatic courses in your area. As electric cars are becoming more and more popular, more and more driving instructors are converting to automatic tuition.

    What course is best for me?

    Simply look on our course section where it will guide you through which courses will suit you best. The average learner will need 47 hours of professional tuition with 22 hours of private practice.     How many training hours will I do in one day?

    This depends on each course. Most courses aim to do 5 hours a day. However courses are flexible, and this is agreed between instructor and pupil. Typically between 3-6 hours per day!

    Will I get home pick up?

    Yes. We aim to offer all the courses from home. However a small minority of students may need to have ana alternative plan if we don't have an instructor in a remote area for example.

    How much do your courses cost?

    All of our courses come with different costs. There are many options to choose from. Location, amount of hours, tests needed etc. Once you have filled out the online form you will be able to get an instant quote on our booking page.     Do I need to pass my theory before I can do a course?

    No. We can arrange everything for you whilst you train and wait for your theory test.
