Intensive Driving Courses Torquay

Torquay is a great place to start your training as it is a large town based in Devon. It is partnered with Paignton, another large town giving you a large area to work with. The A380 dual-carriageway connects Torquay to other villages and gives you access to travel across the country relatively quickly. Torquay is mostly residential and hilly, which it makes ideal to practise hill starts and downhill starts also.

Paignton, Newton Abbot and Brixham are some other places you may visit during your one-week intensive driving course in Torquay. We believe in mixing up your training to give you a wider flavour of roads and vehicles. Also, you will get to travel out into the country to practice with bendy roads, dips and humped bridges. Some villages you may visit are Cockington, Marldon, North Whilborough, Kingskerswell, Coffinswell, Daccombe, Maidencombe, Haccombe, Stokeinteignhead and Combeinteignhead.

When you approach nearer to your practical test appointment, the last hours of your crash course in Torquay are preparation for the test. Although Torquay does not have a test centre, you will need to travel to Newton Abbot to practice.

Our course packages vary to tailor to your previous experience. For learner drivers who have failed a test recently, our Bronze courses are perfect for you. They range from 10 – 15 hours, perfect to go over everything and practice on what you had failed on previously.

Torquay does not have a local test centre nearby. You will have to travel up the A380 to Newton Abbot in order conduct a test. We will always reserve some hours prior to your test so we can include pre-test training.
