The centre provides both car tests and motorcycle tests. Old Newton Road can be busy at peak times, so give yourself a few extra minutes to park and find the waiting area rather than cutting it fine. Bring your provisional licence and your theory test pass certificate number, since the examiner needs both before the test can start, and remember that L plates must be displayed on the car you arrive in. How To Get To Newton Abbot Test Centre
Drivers from the north typically join the M5 and continue onto the A38 towards Plymouth, following signs for Newton Abbot before turning off onto the A380, which leads straight into town and passes close to the test centre.
