Drivers coming from the West Midlands should take the M54, which leads directly onto the A5 for the final approach into Shrewsbury. As you near the town, watch for signs to the A5064, which carries you into the centre; this stretch mixes roundabouts with a dual carriageway, similar to what examiners assess on the practical test itself.
