If you’re driving, head towards the town centre and follow signs for the railway station, which sits close to the test venue. Rail passengers should get off at Dunfermline Town Station, from where it’s a short walk. Buses from surrounding towns run frequently into the town centre; get off at a central stop and the rest of the walk is straightforward.
Set off with more time than you think you need. Roadworks or a delayed train can eat into the margin quickly, and the DVSA has no obligation to fit you in late. If you have a reading difficulty, dyslexia, or another need, the DVSA can arrange extra support, but you’ll need to request it in advance rather than expecting it to be sorted on the day.
