Beginner courses are suitable for the new candidate who is keen to start and get on with driving!  By booking one of our beginner courses, you can feel calm and sure that your training is in the best hands. Intermediate – Are you somewhat experienced? Have you dabbled with lessons previously? And now just want to get on the road and become independent? Then our Silver courses are the best package for you! We have a range of courses from 15 hours to 30 hours catering for all learner drivers and there needs. Access our silver courses here. Troon is based on the KA10 postcode and all of the other surrounding villages. Around Troon are other places/settlements such as Loans, Monkton, Dundonald, Prestwick, Symington, Dreghorn, Irvine, Springside, Ayr & Mossblown. Troon doesn’t have it’s has driving test centre. So when taking your driving test, you will need to travel to other places. If you are from further, you can still take your driving test by travelling to the nearby test centres that would be situated in Ayr and Greenock.

Your driving instructor will take you to these places when it comes to your test. As part of your training, of course. when it comes to driving test preparation, you will need to become familiar with the test centres in the nearby town. Dependent upon which test centre you opt for, will determine where your training will be. 

Passing the theory test is the first step in everyone’s learning journey. Without taking the theory test, booking a practical test is impossible. Here at LPOD Academy, we are putting as much emphasis on the theory as we do with the practical.

So, whilst we are arranging your intensive driving course, upon booking, you will be straight into studying your theory from the comfort from your own home. Troon does not have its own test centre. So taking your theory test will require you to travel to other places/towns. You can take your test in that would be located in Ayr.
