Wantage is a town based in the county of Oxfordshire east of Swindon and west of Didcot. With a population of 11,000, it makes Wantage a fairly low place for traffic to build. Your driving instructor in Wantage will conduct all of the hours of your course in Wantage with a few trips to other towns to gain more access to more complex roads and junctions like Abingdon, Didcot and Faringdon.

To get a wider flavour of driving you will visit other places near Wantage such as East Challow, West Challow, Grove, Ardington, East Lockinge, Letcombe Regis, Letcombe Bassett, Childrey, Denchworth and East Hanney.

You will take your driving test in Oxford and you will be taken there during the later parts of your course to become familiar with the area.

Your one-week intensive course will make you confident in your ability to drive independently. You will have lots of on-road experience and capable of driving without much interaction from your driving instructor. Your practical test will follow after your course week.

As Wantage does not have a local test centre, Oxford will be the city where your test will be conducted. You will visit prior to your test to become familiar with the area and the surrounding areas.
